Emissary Bio: Beverly Farrand
My interest in quantum physics, as it seems to explain metaphysical phenomena, is what led me to Nassim Haramein's lecture in Mount Shasta, California in June of 2006. I have long believed that science and religion seek to answer the same large questions of existence; What are we? Why are we here? How does the Universe work? How can there be paranormal phenomena?
I was a devout Athiest for most of my young life but was always a seeker; someone looking for answers. I began to realize there was something more to this existence than what we can experience with our five senses. I remember hearing about a Stanford University Study done in the early 80's that proved in a double blind study that some people could indeed see the future. I knew that this had far reaching implications about our understanding of time and the nature of reality. It inspired me to begin a layperson's study of quantum physics. In 1986 took up transcendental meditation, and since then have sought out experiences that would provide a spiritual awakening.
When I began to personally experience extra sensory perception such as telepathy and psychic shivers. I could no longer doubt that the traditional explanation of life and the universe was sorely difficient.
Nothing I have read or heard of since then, has resonated as much as the theories of Nassim Haramein. For the first time, I found an explanation that made sense and did not require faith in something that otherwise would seem impossible, or the discovery of some theoretical particle, as does quantum physics. As is demonstrated in the seminars, once you understand the dynamics of the Universe as explained by Haramein, you can see examples of it everywhere in nature and you can see for yourself what can only be the true meaning behind many of the world's religious symbols . What's more, you can see how this knowledge can be applied to your own life. And that is what inspired me to become an Emissary of his work.
I have had a diverse career in the arts, politics and direct marketing spanning 25 years. Since 1984 I have been President of the successful direct marketing corporation, Eastern Direct Marketing, Inc., working with and writing hundreds of direct mail letters and business journals for a wide variety of national and international organizations.
I have written a book of poetry entitled, Soul Journeys, Poems of Love, Loss, Rebirth and Spiritual Awakenings published by www.Ebookstand.com. I am also published in the poetry anthology, Love and Luminaries part of the Letters from the Soul series by The International Library of Poetry. Currently I am writing a science fiction action thriller featuring Nassim Haramein's work, I am Executive Director of Arise in Consciousness, a seminar series, and I own Piazazz Designs, a pearl and crystal jewelry line.
